Missed Jury Duty? Judge Reinvites You

Ahhhhh!  don't you just love when tax paying citizens avoid doing their basic civic duty by not showing up for jury summons?  I know people are busy these days and have huge responsibilities.  But I think we must remember that we are citizens first.  A Judge should not have to hold someone in contempt or threaten people with jail time to make them show up for jury duty.  Come on Prince George's County residents, get it together!!!!

One afternoon this month, 25 men and women accused of contempt of
court sat at a hearing inside the largest courtroom in Upper Marlboro.
