Third Teenager Arrested in Florida Case

I am sick to my stomach.  I am seating at my desk in disgust.  I am talking about the gang rape of a Haitian woman and assault of her 12 y/o son.  It is the most disgusting thing that I have heard about in a while; and what is more disturbing is that this terrible crime was committed by a group of teenage boys.  The crime happened in a poor neighborhood called Dunbar Village in West Palm Beach; you can read about just how poor Dunbar Village is; how destitute the area is.  Three boys are in police custody so far..

What is more disturbing is how some of the boy’s family members are defending this idiots.  Why do we do that?  These relatives know their kids are off the hook; but still defend them.  You can see a video report of one of the boy’s, Jakaris Taylor, 15 y/o grinning while he is being arrested; as if this was some joke.  Of course we have the typical family members who don’t believe that their child/relative comitted the crime.  Which really pisses me off;  you always have big momma or Pops defending their child even if the evidence proves that they were at least at the scene of the crime.  This is just digsuting on every level.

  1. This is a truly horrific story. The victims need help with housing and more than likely need to relocate to avoid retaliation, please help by sending donations to: St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

The church will accept donations, said office manager Gloria Davidson. Checks can be made payable to the: “Dunbar Village Victim Assistance Fund – St. Ann’s”

    The address is:

St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 310 N. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33401

You can also call the church at (561) 832-3757. The fund was created specifically to help this woman and her son.

  2. Thanks for the info I will donate money.

  3. This is a sad case indeed. It pissed me off then and still does. I did a related post on this one also.. http://mindtrippin.wordpress.com/2007/07/07/a-war-not-realized-by-some/#more-65

  4. Yes…this is truely the worse act of black on black crime I’ve ever seen, and I agee with your thoughts on how foolish those parents are to uphold such an act, but another thing that I find disturbing, is that fact they so many young boys were able to come into agreement with this plan…as heinous as this act was…they ALL agreed…that’s a serious serious problem…lawlessness is running rampant within our youth (as the Bible prodicts) things are just begining.
