The buck stops here

I am happy that they have filed charges against these tacky turkeys.  I have no respect for Joy Jackson or her husband.  I first read about this months ago and could no believe that they would stoop so low. I remember hearing the Metropolitan Money Store  commercials being advertised on all the local radio stations.  A lot of people assumed they were on the up and up; and they probably were at the beginning.  I hope they are prosecuted to the fullest extent ofthe law.

  1. I agree with you. These people need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

I wonder if any of their friends had questions. I mean, nearly $800,000 on a wedding–that would raise eyebrows from anyone!

  2. Looks like they just got a 5th conviction in this case, but they still haven’t convicted Joy or Kurt yet! Seems to me that the AG is intent on making this a slam dunk kind of case!

  3. Too bad you guys have absolutely no idea what is REALLY going on with the situation, and therefore have to rely on the false, over-exaggerated version by the Washington Post and other news reporters. Of course this is going to be twisted to sound like the worst possible crime against humanity in this economy… this heightens ratings and ratings = $$$. Yes, these two spent what sounds to us, middle-class people, to be an extravaggant amount of money on a wedding, but you are forgetting that this business was also SUCCESSFUL before it was known as nothing other than a “scam.” And if you had this kind of money to spend on YOUR wedding, I have no doubt in my mind that you would do the same. Now these so-called innocent customers that went to the Metropolitan Money Store searching for hope knew what they were getting in to. It was a scam all the way around that the customers were IN on, and are now playing the victim so that they can get even MORE money out of the deal by pressing charges on an already bankrupt company. If anybody’s going to be prosecuted, then these “victims” should be indicted as well.

  4. I agree, so many people jump to conclusions and pass judgement out of jealousy, because $800,000. is more than see will see in a lifetime. Reminder….we all make mistakes of some kind. Do something that will make a difference in the world, write your congressman and take action on important issues. It’s 9pm do you know where your children are??????

  5. they are frauds, this has nothing to do with children.
